I have my own website that I would like to publish just my listings to, is that possible? Yes!
How many of my websites can I connect iProp to? As many as you like.
Will iProp host my website/email? Yes, we will host your website as an additional service if you'd like. But it's not required to use iProp!
How does iProp connect to my website(s)? iProp uses FTP (File Transfer Protocol) to connect and publish listings into your website. You configure iProp to connect to a website by entering the FTP login information.
Can I customize my listing pages? iProp allows you complete freedom to wrap your actual listings with whatever layout and design you like. And, when you have more than one website that you publish listings into, you can customize the design separately for each website's listings.
I have a ________ that I need to put in a listing. iProp lets you attach pictures, floor plans, virtual tours, URL links and files (such as Word, PDFs, PowerPoint and Excel files) to any listing. These files are then automatically uploaded along with your listings to your webserver, ensuring that you retain complete control of your listing content.
Do I have to run any special software or application server on my website to have iProp publish? No! iProp listings are basic HTML, so every commercially available webserver platform can serve it!
How long does it take to set up iProp? If you have your FTP information in front of you for the website you'd like to connect to, less than five minutes.
How long does it take to publish and upload my listings? This depends on several factors, including the number of listings you added/modified, the number of webhosts you publish to, the number of listing services you're sending to, and how fast your webserver is where your site is hosted. Testing under various conditions with different amounts of updating required has shown that publishing typically occurs in anywhere from five seconds to two minutes.
My website is built in (ASP/.NET/ColdFusion/JSP/PHP/etc) and creates the design of the pages using templates. Can iProp work with this? Yes! We can work with any file extension in use for your website. iProp even allows you to use custom filename extensions if need be!
Our website uses a content management system. Can iProp work with this? In most cases, yes!
